About Me

Hello! I am Josué, a professional musician based in Quito, Ecuador, and passionate about learning and sharing what I have been able to learn with those who also want to learn more and more.
Throughout my experience I have carried out various activities related to music, including music production, interpretation along with various musical projects of various kinds, technical assistance to bands in large and small shows, and, of course, teaching.

I am currently a member of two groups (mainly):

- HcPunk Decision
and I am building my project as a soloist.

Bachelor of Music, with an emphasis in music production.
- Guitar as main instrument
- I participated in ensembles that were chosen for the end-of-semester concerts (where the best of each semester participated), including: Rock Ensemble, Jazz II Ensemble, Mediterranean Music Ensemble. With this last ensemble, I also participated in the La Fiesta de la Música event (organized by the French Alliance) in 2018 in Quito, Ecuador.

I have extensive experience, since 2018, as a music teacher in institutes and public and private institutions, as well as in a private way. Among these are the following:

In the field of production, I have been part of the technical staff of the metal band Hidekel, with which I had the opportunity to be on large stages of the country in Quito and other cities, and in concerts with international artists such as Tierra Santa, Avalanch, WarCry, among others.
I have also had the opportunity to work as a production assistant in the studio and at events with the band Anima Inside.
I have experience in pre-production (demo development, arrangements, etc.), production (recording, in studio and live), and post-production (editing and mixing).

Regarding musical groups, the main groups I have belonged to are: HcPunk Decision, and Seventh Moon. Seventh Moon is the musical project with the greatest movement to which I currently belong, and with whom we have had the opportunity to perform on important stages in the city of Quito, and we are also in the production of our second album.
Additionally, I am preparing the production and release of my first singles as a soloist.
I enjoy learning different repertoire, which has also allowed me to play with talented musicians at different private social events of all sizes.
