Hello! I would like to share and transmit my enthusiasm for science (Maths, Physics, Computer Science) and allow you to acquire tools, methods and intuitions that could be useful to you well beyond the academic framework (for example, the ability to construct and write an argument, the ability to reason and take a critical look).

About Me

I enjoy teaching primarily to share knowledge and pass on tools or thought patterns that I myself have discovered thanks to others. I am convinced that teaching is not a one-way exchange: as a teacher, you also learn a lot from your students, whether through their new questions or their different ways of approaching problems.

What particularly motivates me is sharing my enthusiasm for science and scientific thinking, often wrongly perceived as "complex," "inaccessible," or "incomprehensible." I like to deconstruct these abstract representations and show that they can, on the contrary, become intuitive and natural. Many concepts, particularly in mathematics, do not fall from the sky: they have concrete origins and often simple motivations that I like to highlight.

Education

I am currently finishing my Master's degree in Physics and Data Science at EPFL.

Before that, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Physics, during which I spent a year at ETHZ.

The math, physics, chemistry, and SVT courses of the Swiss maturity program and gymnasium or French programs are done by either in-depth explanations or by a quick course and summary of essential needs according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or evaluations and exams from other high schools.
Special program for Matura and Terminales.
As well as for (students in international and European Schools in English, they can have support in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
For the start of the academic year in Switzerland, support courses for EPSU and ECUS exams.
For the first university year, support courses in Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, Geology.
My experience is too long and for years I have learned methods for each case and for each student to fill in their gaps with the best results of Excellent, Very Good, and Good as mentioned by my students.
I can also help students to better prepare for courses and support them to better prepare for the duties of CNED in science subjects.
Guaranteed response within minutes up to 10 hours maximum.

As a first-year Master's student at Neuro-X after a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, I have acquired a solid grasp of scientific subjects and a good understanding of academic requirements in mathematics and physics.
My goal is to support each student with a caring approach adapted to their pace, by offering them a learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and progressing calmly.
Together, we will work on understanding key concepts and their application through various exercises, in order to strengthen confidence and autonomy in science.

As a Political Economy student at the University of Fribourg, with a high school diploma in Biology and Chemistry, I offer in-home tutoring tailored to each student's level. I help students with homework, test and exam preparation, and also provide supplementary lessons to address specific gaps in knowledge or reinforce learning.

Fluency, pronunciation and impeccable writing in English.
My tutoring services also extend to History, Mathematics, Economics and Law, and Biology and Chemistry.

Serious, punctual, motivated, and dedicated, I strive to motivate students, providing structure and study methods to help them become more independent. In math, I love finding solutions and strategies, and I can help with reading and understanding problems, which are often a source of difficulty for students who otherwise have great potential in mathematics.

Hi! My name is Losel, I'm an IB graduate who scored 7 in both Math AA HL and Physics HL. I've just graduated magna cum laude with a double bachelor in mathematics and physics from École Polytechnique (Paris) and am now doing a master's in Quantum Science and Engineering at EPFL.

I offer one-on-one online tutoring, with an iPad and camera setup so we can work through problems together in real time, just like in person. I can help with:

Concepts: Going through your lectures and building intuition, clearing up the hard concepts.

Exercises and past papers: Understanding the exercises (best way to get a good grade btw), as well as exam strategy and how to solve problems faster.

IA and EE: choosing a strong topic, structuring the paper, and refining drafts.

University applications: personal statements, choosing programs, mock technical interviews, and how to maximize your chances to get into a top uni.

I've been through the IB myself, so I know where it gets tough and how to succeed through it. No two students need the same thing, so we'll set clear goals together and work toward them at your pace.

I teach in English, but I also have a C1 in French, so we can mix. I also speak Portuguese and Danish fluently.

Message me for a first chat!

I am currently in my third year of law school in Fribourg. I really enjoy teaching and having the opportunity to explain things in order to make school easier for children. I have already had the opportunity to tutor 7th and 8th graders and teach pottery, and these are experiences I loved.
