Basic foundations of Drawing and experimental DrawingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My name is Paco, I am a 22-years-old Spanish artist and dancer. I did a Fine Arts degree in Spain and now I keep making visual arts exhibitions and developing my researches in art and dancing. Drawing is a tool that allows us to understand our surroundings and ourselves. Through this course, you can learn how to draw from the very fundamental bases of this language. We will focus on proportions, perspectives, shapes, light and shades, and the understanding of different drawing materials. Furthermore, we can explorer the experimental part of this world while we learn about contemporary artists, trying to understand the huge diversity of art languages and drawing styles during the last centuries. Drawing as a way to express yourself, of giving shape to your feelings, of joy and play, of poetry. Drawing as a way of finding your style and personal language. These private lessons are perfect to develop the sensibility and creative world of the youngest as well as to encourage the adults to create, to explore their childish side and to learn a very powerful language that can reach to say things that cannot be shaped by words. This course is perfectly adaptable to the necessities of each student. Although you are experienced in drawing or a beginner, we will make a very personal process of formation.

Guitar Lessons in Zehlendorf - Rock, Jazz, ClassicalTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello, My name is Kevin, and I am a passionate guitar player from Austin Texas, based here in Berlin. I grew up studying classical guitar and playing rock guitar (Austin is a great city for rock!) before studying Jazz at the prestigious Thornton School of Music at USC in Los Angeles. I have been performing since the age of six, with solo and group performances in various cities across America, including Los Angeles, New York, and Washington DC. In addition to this, I have been teaching guitar for over 10 years. I am currently furthering my studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin focusing back on my first love, the classical guitar! As a teacher, my focus is always on the individual student: what are your specific passions, strengths, and weaknesses, and what are your goals? How can I tailor our lessons to get us there? How can we have fun? In addition to this, with all my students I work to cultivate a strong and reliable technical ability. A good technique is important. It lays a strong foundation for everything and gives you the tools to truly express yourself musically. I am happy to teach any style (except Reggae because... Nah just kidding) and all experience levels. Beginners are so very welcome! Here are some of my focuses: - Fingerstyle: classical and folk style - Plectrum style, strumming, and single note - Improvisation (and all of its many applications!) - Scales, chords, and arpeggios - Advanced application of music theory - Intuitive understanding of rhythm, along with odd time signatures - Ear training (identifying notes and chords simply by hearing them) - Music reading - Using equipment to craft tones for electric guitar (amps and effects) - Practical understanding of recording software, which is both a wonderful creative tool and vital for professional purposes. I teach out of my apartment in Friedrichshain/Prenzlauer Berg. So let's get started! Cheers, Kevin
