Hallo! Bonjour ! - my name is Anna and I am originally from Germany. I grew up bilingual (German/French) in both countries and would love to teach these languages to anyone interested in! The lessons can be held either via Skype or in Prague. :)

If you'd like to practice for interviews, presentations or business conferences, let me know the topics in advance so I can research and prepare for them and conduct formal conversation sessions. In case you want to prepare for an exam, I can recommend and purchase the necessary books or materials. I went to an International school where I have acquired high grades in IGCSE and IB mathematics, so if you are struggling with math, I can help you get an A+ or a 7 in those courses or in general mathematics. I also have been learning Spanish for over 6 years with a DELE certificate at Nivel B2, a level that allows me to attend university lectures in Spanish and I am able to understand the majority. If you would like to learn Spanish or if it is your second language at school, I am here for you.

I am convinced that learning a language can be both serious and fun, and I adapt to the level and needs of each student to allow them to progress with confidence. I would be delighted to be able to support students in their learning of English, whether to strengthen their basic skills, improve their oral expression or prepare them for an exam.

This class will help those willing to improve their spoken English as well as grammar and to learn common easy English expressions for use in normal daily life. For students already studying English in school, this class can be a supplementary learning platform for improvement and I can also help with English language homework up to BAC level.

Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
