Master Engineering Drawing, Technical Drawing and Engineering Graphics with a practical, step-by-step approach.

Are you a student who finds engineering drawing difficult to visualize? Do you want to understand orthographic projections, front/top/side views, sections, dimensions, scales, and 3D shapes instead of simply memorizing drawing procedures?

I provide friendly, patient and practical online coaching in Technical Drawing, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Graphics, CAD and Engineering Design for students from high school through university, as well as professionals who want to strengthen their technical drawing and design skills.

What You Will Learn

The classes are designed to develop both your drawing skills and your ability to visualize engineering objects in 2D and 3D.

Topics can include:

Engineering Drawing fundamentals and drawing conventions
Visualization of 2D and 3D geometric shapes
Orthographic projection
Front, Top, Side and Back views
First-angle and Third-angle projection
Isometric views and pictorial representation
Sectional views and sectional drawings
Hidden lines, centre lines and construction lines
Dimensions, annotations and engineering symbols
Scales and measurement
Geometrical constructions
Development of surfaces
Intersections of solids
Tolerances and basic fits
Engineering drawing standards and conventions
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Production-oriented technical documentation
Mechanical components and product drawings
Basic engineering design principles
From Hand Drawing to CAD and 3D Models

I also help students understand how traditional engineering drawing connects with modern Computer-Aided Design (CAD).

You can learn how a product or mechanical component can be:

Visualized → Sketched → Dimensioned → Created in CAD → Converted into a 3D Model → Prepared for Manufacturing / 3D Printing

Depending on your requirements, lessons can include AutoCAD, 2D drafting, 3D modelling and engineering design workflows.

The objective is not only to teach you which commands to use, but to help you understand why a drawing is created in a particular way and how engineers use drawings to communicate a design.

Practical, Student-Focused Teaching

My teaching approach is based on understanding through visualization and practice.

Instead of simply demonstrating a drawing, I explain:

How to visualize the object before drawing it
How to identify the different surfaces and views
How the front, top and side views are related
How to determine the required dimensions
How to construct the drawing step by step
How to avoid common drawing mistakes
How to interpret engineering drawings correctly
How the same concept is applied in CAD and real-world design

Lessons include worked examples, practical exercises and real engineering/product examples so that students can gradually develop confidence and independence.

Who Are These Classes For?

These lessons are suitable for:

High school students studying technical/engineering drawing
Diploma students
Mechanical Engineering students
Civil Engineering students
Architecture students
Industrial Engineering students
Product Design students
Manufacturing Engineering students
Other engineering students studying Engineering Graphics or Engineering Drawing
Students preparing for examinations
Beginners learning CAD and technical drawing
University students working on drawing or CAD projects
Professionals who want to refresh or improve their technical drawing skills

Beginners are welcome. No advanced prior knowledge is required.

Online & Interactive Lessons

All lessons are conducted online and interactively.

Depending on the topic, I can use:

Screen sharing
Live drawing demonstrations
CAD demonstrations
2D drafting
3D modelling
Step-by-step problem solving
Practical drawing exercises
Real-world engineering examples

You can bring your specific syllabus, textbook exercises, assignments, CAD projects or exam topics, and the lessons can be adapted to your requirements.

Learn to Think Like a Designer

Engineering drawing is more than producing a neat drawing on paper. It is a method of visualizing ideas, communicating designs and understanding how objects are constructed and manufactured.

My goal is to help you move from:

“I don't understand this shape.”

to

“I can visualize it, draw its views, add the required dimensions and understand how it would be represented in CAD and manufactured.”

Whether you are starting from zero, preparing for an examination, struggling with engineering graphics, learning CAD, or working on a design project, I will guide you step by step at your own pace.

Book a lesson and let's make Engineering Drawing and CAD easier, more visual and more practical.

About Me
Hello I am Aashish A Patil, an alumni of VJTI Mumbai. I am located at Mumbai and I teach online and offline. I have been teaching students from all over India and abroad. My students are located in Gulf countries, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

My students have always scored above 95%+ marks in their exams. I have myself topped in Engineering Drawing (Engineering Graphics/ Technical Drawing) throughout my Mechanical Engineering exams. I teach everything using a pencil and paper methodology. I make students solve problems in front of me. I use power point animations and to help students visualize and learn complex topics easily. I also use 3D CAD models for making complex topics easy for students to visualize and grasp difficult topics with ease.

Technical drawing is all about simultaneous thinking and movement of your hands. Imagination has to be improved and visualization of engineering components in your mind is an important factor to understand this subject. It’s not a subject similar to by hearting formulas and theory answers, for this one needs to understand the basics concepts thoroughly. If basics are clear the rest part of the subject is simple. My focus is more on clearing basic concepts and develop confidence among students. Over the period of 15+ years I developed unique techniques to make students understand this subject easily. My students have nicknamed me as DrawingWala

Engineering Drawing Tutor (Jan, 2006–Present) at Freelancer and online tutor
Engineering Drawing Tutor at Mumbai since 2006, Taught more then 3000+ students. All my students have cleared their papers in first attempt with flying colors.

My best student so far is Aniruddha Dalmia of Thakur college of engineering, Mumbai. He cleared engineering drawing in first attempt. Aniruddha Dalmia suffered from Motor Neuro Disorder (MND). MND causes difficulty in body movements of a person, even difficulty to hold pencil used for drawing. My coaching made engineering drawing super easy for him.

Aniruddha made a history in Mumbai University by clearing engineering drawing in first attempt by topping in his class. It's time for you to make a history now. Connect me at the earliest.
