The voice is the tuning fork of the body — a sensitive instrument that reflects our internal state and sends it outward. It is also a method of achieving goals, setting boundaries and expressing the simple but powerful message: “I am here.” Learning to use our voice with clarity, confidence and nuance is one of the key elements of effective communication, self-presentation and public speaking. In my classes, I use traditional songs from different cultures and simple Indian mantras to help “tune” the subtle strings of the voice. These forms of singing naturally support grounding, breath awareness and emotional openness. Depending on your level and intention, I choose the most suitable rhythm and method: • with some students, we focus on vocal grounding, breath, tone and control; • with others, we explore freedom, resonance and singing multi-voiced songs without tension or self-limitation. Through bodywork, breathwork and singing practice, we gradually develop the ability to trust our own sound, guide the nuances of the voice with precision, and use this instrument confidently — in daily communication, creative work or public performance.
