About Me

I am a very vibrant and hard-working passionate teacher. I have experience in tutoring for five years and my previous high school students gained enough knowledge to be admitted to my college for university training, I take pride in this.

Education

A hard-working and motivated individual with substantial experience in polymer sciences and biotechnology. Srishti, PhD student of biotechnology in "Development and characterisation of combined nanocellulose and lignin-based paper coating for minimising the use of thermoplastic dispersions" from Universidade Católica Portuguesa Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, Portugal. Her project deals with the development of bio-based coated paper for food packaging to replace complex thermoplastic coated paper present in the market. Concluded the European Master of Food Science, Technology and Business at KU Leuven, Catholic University of Portugal and Anhalt University Germany, Europe and Bachelor of Science (Hons.) Chemistry at St. Stephen's college (India) whose selection procedures required excellency and high calibre. Worked with various analytical equipment for 5 years and independent with chromatography, spectroscopy, and hybrid techniques (gas chromatography with flame ionisation detection/ mass spectroscopy). Her research experience comprises of Bachelor thesis project on molecular docking of Neurophysin I and oxytocin, an internship project on decontamination of animal tissue using cold atmospheric plasma, a Master thesis project on recycling of food-grade PP cups using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction and a one-year research grant holder in the project BIOPROTECT to develope and characterize biodegradable films with multifunctional properties, e.g. antimicrobial and antioxidant.
