Hello! In this class my goal is for you to explore the saxophone and to be able to learn and enjoy it. The saxophone is a really rich instrument but it can be hard to navigate, so I would be here to help you in all the ways that you would need help with (whether it be sound, technique, rhythm etc.).
I believe in learning the saxophone, or music in general, through the lens of music that you enjoy, so one thing I like to do is learn songs that you like, as well as songs that I can suggest, and through them, learn more about the saxophone and music in general.

About Me
My name is Oriol, I am a 24 year old Saxophone Player who has been in love with music for as long as I can remember, and most of all love transmitting and teaching the music with all people who are interested in learning. I've been teaching for several years now and is something that I hope to keep doing for years to come :)
I want to give students a place where they can explore music through the lens that they view music and through the music that they love, and maybe explore the things that they like through the things that we learn. I want to create cooperative learning spaces where both the teacher and the student can inform the things that we learn in class.
My classroom is always a safe space and I believe that everyone has the right to learn and enjoy music.

I studied at Berklee College of Music, graduating in the class of 2023. I Majored in Professional Music, with my concentrations being in Saxophone and Music Production
