About Me

A qualified and independent translator, I am above all passionate about the English language. From pronunciation to grammar, I like to help my students to surpass themselves, to understand the essence of the language of Shakespeare and to bring their pronunciation closer to that of a native speaker.
In my free time, I am someone with multiple passions that do not fail to fuel my knowledge of English in these areas (music, comics, cinema, and many others) and I am also the father of two children to whom I have spoken English since their birth.

Education

I followed a course in translation and interpretation at the Institut libre Marie Haps (English and German) before moving towards European studies, a course in English followed at UCLouvain.

Experience / Qualifications

I have been working as a freelance translator and editor since 2021, after a first professional life in the banking sector, which led me to speak English every day with a specific clientele.

I learned English in 3 months before moving to the USA in 2021. My method will help you achieve your goals!

As a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley—ranked the number 1 public university in the US and the world—my greatest asset is undoubtedly the cultural richness that my studies have brought me. I believe the best way to learn is through interaction. I organize my classes around my students, their interests, and their areas for improvement!

I currently teach English to international students at my university. I also help with a writing club and elementary school students. One of my strengths is communication; I'm very comfortable speaking. For example, I gave the 2023 Graduation speech at my previous institution in Santa Barbara. I'm here to help you achieve your goals!
