Hello! My name is Shervin and I am an English native speaker from Canada. I started teaching English 5 years ago to the new-comers to Ottawa, and after relocating to Pavia to experience the Italian lifestyle and pursue my medical studies, I have been teaching a variety of students including adults, children, students and businesspersons in my private classes with the skills that they need to communicate, read, write and comprehend English.

Communication is the greatest advantage that one can have and as one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, English allows you to communicate with people all across the world.

While teaching I try to be a mentor and an organizer of learning experiences as this encourages the students to actively understand and reconstruct what they learn in a simple but memorable way. My philosophy in teaching is to make it an interesting experience and teach students HOW to learn and not just WHAT to learn.

I'm passionate about cultural exchange and languages as in the last 4 years I've been traveling for work and studies in East Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
