About Me
I am Marius, a final year Master's student in Musicology, I studied at the CRR in Dijon, I have been in the world of music for more than 6 years as a private teacher but also as an artist in various musical projects.
I do not use any particular method for my lessons, I adapt my teaching to the students. I start with a short questionnaire during the first lesson to find out the student's motivations and establish a climate of trust, and my goal is simply to meet the student's expectations by pushing them to surpass themselves, BUT, music for me must remain a hobby, which can later become a passion. The goal is above all to take pleasure in learning, to establish a dialogue between the teacher and the student to keep the pleasure of practicing as much as possible. I do not ask students to have any accounts to give me, no particular homework to do or submit, simply exercises to help them progress as best as possible according to their profile. The guitar is a very versatile instrument that allows you to learn many songs to play by the fire as well as more complex pieces in order to improve your technique to be able to play in concert for example. The goal of my course is to provide a first approach to this instrument or to deepen certain basics by following the personal objectives of the musician. Music must remain a leisure activity so the lessons must be interesting and take place in a good mood. We could learn improvisation as well as the execution of existing pieces or even composition.
Composition is a very interesting exercise in music but it can be complex and frustrating if you are not guided.
