Private lessons on the English language and on the opening of the world

I am bilingual in English and French, and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I offer English conversation sessions tailored to your preferences and needs, whether in person or remotely. In addition to that, I obtained a master's degree and studied music. I have solid teaching experience, having taught harp to various audiences for several years. I am also available to provide academic support.

For the last few years, I've been working for a prestigious language agency in France. I have a lot of experience working with kids and teenagers. Each tutorial is geared around the needs of the individual child. Some children are visual learners, others are more tactile, while others still have difficulty focusing. For beginner students, we work with visuals and then we do a lot of role playing, identifying the visuals we revised earlier. One of the games we play that kids love is The Grocer, where they sell or buy the items on display. We also play The Pub ( restaurant) and we use real menus and paper money. There's lots of signing and dancing, of course.... For the older kids, we work on things such as poetry, audio-skills by watching and discussing video clips, and lots more. I have one ESL student who is interested in literature and we tackled some of the easier classics like Hemingway. I also assign projects such as creating an English YouTube channel, a comic book series, cooking presentations, to name some of the best projects I've had over the years. I have experience teaching through the net. In the past we've used Skype, since it's free (unlike zoom ). I've taught students as young as 9 through Skype.

Learning English is a great way to connect with others whether it's in the professional space or just for fun. English is the most widely spoken language in the world, and is a sought out skill to have. With my course I will teach/improve your English with classes that are all in English, to better immerse the student in the language. With fun games, exercises and non stop English conversation, you will see results and improve your skill, so when you are introduced with the opportunity to speak, you will be ready.

With C1 level and with an experience of one semester abroad, I propose to give English courses from beginner to intermediate level for an audience of all ages. I had the opportunity to teach English within the framework of homework assistance associations in Nancy (54) and Toulouse (31). I offer tutoring from middle school to preparatory class in mathematics and English. I obtained my baccalaureate specializing in mathematics and International Option with honors before being admitted to preparatory class at Collège Stanislas.
