About Me
A multifaceted musician, Samuel invests himself as much in baroque and classical music on historical instruments as in contemporary music, practicing all kinds of flute from piccolo to bass flute. He performs at the Musica Festival in Strasbourg, Manifesto in Paris and La Biennale di Venezia. After obtaining his license in 2016 with Mario Caroli in Strasbourg (excellent) he obtained, last June, his Master at the CNSMDP (Sophie Cherrier class) with honors unanimously. In 2015, he founded the ensemble Le Bateau Ivre (flute, string trio and harp) specialized in the 20th century French repertoire, with which he performs regularly in Europe and in 2017 in Japan and Korea.
His profile and his passion for the orchestra allow him to collaborate with the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Toulouse, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Ensemble Regards. Samuel is a member of the Conservatoire Laureates Orchestra (OLC) and the Theresia Youth Orchestra (Classical Orchestra on Historic Instruments at 430hz). It is supported by grants from various organizations: Fondation de France, Société Générale, Nguyen Thien Dao Foundation, Safran Foundation, Meyer Foundation, Tarrazi Fund.
