About Me

My name is Lucía, and I was born and raised in Navarre. Throughout my life, I've had many hobbies: reading, writing, taking photos... but the guitar has never been a pastime for me; it's been my calling, and I've pursued it to the end. Now I dedicate myself entirely to this instrument, playing in concerts and giving lessons.

All this time I've been pursuing the joy of learning and constantly improving, which is what I want my students to feel. I have extensive experience giving private lessons and also teaching in music schools.

What I like to do most is play the guitar, and right after that, give lessons on this instrument.

Education

I started playing guitar as a child at the local school in my town, where I completely fell in love with music and my instrument. Eventually, I attended the Pablo Sarasare Professional Conservatory in Pamplona and completed my degree at the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene) with Marco Socías. I also recently finished a Master's degree in solo guitar performance at the Katarina Gurska Conservatory in Madrid with Pedro Mateo González.

- Since I was 6 years old I play the trumpet. I have a Higher Degree in Classical Music which I studied at the Conservatory of the Basque Country - MUSIKENE. In addition I did a Master in Orchestral Interpretation in Zürich, Switzerland. I am currently studying a Higher Degree in Jazz Music at the Conservatorio Superior de Navarra.
