I'm a Spanish teacher with over 20 years of experience in education, and my goal has always been clear: to help students learn the language in a practical, natural, and meaningful way.

My teaching approach is centered around real-life situations, with a strong focus on speaking and oral expression. I use a modern, engaging, and student-friendly method that encourages communication from day one.

I truly believe that learning a language is not just about memorizing rules—it's about living it, using it, and enjoying the journey.

I’m passionate about guiding each student along their path and providing them with the tools they need to feel confident using Spanish in real contexts.

When I was a young child, I believed I was not a mathematical person.

It wasn't until I met an amazing teacher at age 15 that I discovered my mathematical genius and my life was changed forever.

I'm eternally grateful to that teacher.

My teacher knew that self-image and self-belief is the key to unlocking your child's mathematical abilities.

Everyone is good at maths, but we all have different styles of thinking.

Bad teachers teach every child the same way.

My job is to find your child's style of mathematics and allow him to discover that for himself.

When he discovers that, he will begin to enjoy the beauty and power of mathematics...and then you will see as the grades begin to soar.

👉Click the blue "Contact Oliver" button above and let's discuss how we can unlock your child's mathematical talents! 😊

Experienced Math, Physics and Engineering tutor for high school, IB and university courses. I enjoy encouraging high school and university students to find a passion for math, physics, and stem topics. I can help with homework problems, exam studying and learning content. I'm living in Palma, and am able to meet at the students home, or I have access to a work space near Placa d'Espana. I can also offer classes online. I obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and achieved top marks. I love design, engineering and machining so can help with student's design or engineering related aspirations. Furthermore, I could support with engineering and science applications for university programs, and can provide insight into the university landscape in Canada. Over a year ago I moved to Palma from Canada to improve my Spanish and work as an mechanical engineer in the marine industry.

*EX HEADTEACHER*
*QUALIFIED UK PRIMARY TEACHER*

I offer full time homeschooling for children that are struggling with the mainstream education system- or families that simply want a bit more flexibility and an alternative approach.

Hopefully you and your children are happy and thriving at school :) But everyone needs help with something such as homework, reinforcement with schoolwork or to fill gaps in learning, with expert tuition (partcularly English and maths) via after school classes.

I also offer language aquisition classes for both children and adults in English and Spanish.

Nothing makes me feel better than watching my students progress happily and knowing I have made a positive change in their lives for the better. In the last few years I have worked with high profile families in a full time capacity, adding real, measurable value and making dreams come true in the process. Now, with students having graduated and moving onto Secondary school or another country, I am looking to continue my journey to help as many children as possible achieve, excel and enjoy.

I offer personalized English lessons for children, tailored to their age and needs. During the lessons, children develop language skills through play and fun activities, preparing them for school or their first exams. After each lesson, they receive homework, and parents receive regular progress reports. Lessons can be taught in English, Spanish, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian.

I offer English classes adapted to the age, level, pace and objectives of each student, both for those starting from scratch and for those who want to improve their conversation, pronunciation, comprehension or recover English that they have not practiced for a while.

My method is based primarily on a communicative and progressive immersion approach. The idea is to use English from the beginning, always adapting to your level, and gradually reduce the need to mentally translate every word or phrase.

If you encounter an unfamiliar word, before resorting directly to a translation, we'll try to understand it through context, synonyms, examples, images, gestures, or simple explanations in English. This way, you'll learn to use your existing knowledge to get by even when you don't know every word.

The classes can combine conversation, listening comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar applied to real-life situations, always depending on what you want to achieve.

With children and teenagers we can also work on school support, homework, exam preparation and reinforcement, incorporating games, images and more dynamic activities when appropriate.

With adults we can focus the classes on conversation, travel, work, everyday situations, pronunciation, fluency, starting from scratch or recovering English after a time without using it.

My goal is to create a space where you can practice without fear of making mistakes and where you can gradually understand more, translate less, and communicate more naturally and confidently.

I enjoy being the bridge between students and their language-learning goals. The best learning happens in good spirits—and gives you skills you can put to use in the future. Make mistakes? That’s part of learning! They become stories that help you remember and strengthen what you’ve learned.
