I must admit, for a math teacher, I had terrible grades in school. I always thought I wasn't cut out for a scientific career.

When I decided to become an engineer, I had to start from zero and learn everything by myself. At first, I would have been incapable of passing an eight grade math test. Months of hard self-taught work led me to develop a study method focused on deep understanding of a subject rather than mere information retention.

Through this project of becoming a private tutor, I hope to become the person I needed most a few years ago. The person that can, in addition of helping a student succeed, give them the motivation to learn. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime"

About me:
I am a student at the polytechnic school of Louvain-la-neuve. As a student I know how difficult it is sometimes to learn and assimilate subjects. My first student was a family friend whom I helped in high school in subjects such as math and science. She had a lot of difficulties and failures and it turns out that following my lessons which lasted two months and the entire duration of her exam session during which I followed and supported her, she came out with a report card without failures and a very large positive difference in marks compared to her last. Since then, I have had the opportunity to help several students in their journey from the first secondary to the first year of university.

Having qualified as a management engineer since 2020, I have always had the opportunity to share my taste for mathematics with younger students who are reluctant to think that mathematics is not as terrible as it seems. An engineer by training and a doctoral student in economic sciences, I wish to share the knowledge acquired during my studies with students of all ages in Walloon Brabant and beyond.
