If you're interested in learning saxophone, flute, and/or music theory, improvisation, or musical composition, I'm offering private lessons. I've been working as a professional musician for over 20 years. My specialties include free improvisation and jazz but I've performed in everything ranging from symphony orchestra's to DJs at venues including the Lincoln Center in NYC, North Sea Jazz Festival and the London Jazz Festival to name just a few.
I've also taught at international schools and have successfully helped students progress through the Trinity music system.
I have a studio in my house so lessons are possible here or at your place.
All ages and levels are welcome!

About Me

I am primarily interested in helping you get the most enjoyment possible out of making music. I'm very happy to deal with serious students who want to advance to the highest levels, but I also understand if you are someone that just wants to make music to enjoy the process and doesn't need to aspire to playing Carnegie Hall. Either way, to enjoy playing music takes time, and discipline, but I'm most interested in developing a personal method of study that can help the student achieve their goals, with a pedagogy that suits their abilities best.

I offer piano lessons from intermediate to advanced levels. I'm currently no longer teaching beginners.

I believe in a practical and integrated approach that incorporates theory, improvisation, ear, and note reading. If you have a specific goal in mind, I can tailor the lessons to your needs. I have extensive pedagogical and musical training. I am a professional musician and teach in higher arts education. My specialty is jazz music, but I also have experience in other genres. In my free time, I practice classical music. I can also teach you specifically about music theory (not music theory for beginners), arrangement, and music notation software.
