About Me

My name is Teacher Hassan Abdullah. I am a certified, native-speaking, American, English teacher with 15 years of teaching experience.

I love teaching English, and living in Morocco. I love to travel, and have been blessed to travel many places in my life (Canada, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Oman, Jordan, Malaysia, and Morocco).

I am very proud that I became a "Muslim", in 1978 (43 years now), after I graduated from Florida State University, and I wrote a 9 volume, character training program for children (6-13) called "Muslim2Believer (By Puberty)".

I earned my 2nd degree blackbelt in Shaolin "Long-Fist" Kung Fu, and have taught Tai Chi Chuan for Health over 30 years (since 1983).

Education

I earned my Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1977, and
my TESOL Certification from the International College of Applied Linguistics in 2005

Experience / Qualifications

I specialized in teaching all skills and levels of Academic English for 7 years to university students, in Saudi Arabia, who became English teachers upon graduation. I also taught all prerequisite Business English classes to students in the Taibah University Business Dept.

I taught all skills and levels of General English at the community college level for 5 years to businessmen, professionals, university workers, military, and police administrators.

Upon returning to the US, I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students the US National Curriculum for English for 3 years, at a private school, and served as the "English Tutor" for all high school students in their online program for 3 years.

Before teaching, I did Drug and Crisis Counseling for 20 years. So, my teaching style is always fun, caring, and confidence-building with a constant focus on MASTERY.
