I specialize in tutoring English and Greek for schools and businesses. My primary goal is to acquaint the students with the English and Greek language and make the class as relevant as i can to their needs and expertise. I visualize my classes and i make them as more practical as you need. Additionally, my studies in Work and Organizational Psychology at Tilburg University provided me with the knowledge of coaching and consulting candidates for getting well-prepared for job interviews, for writing appropriate cvs and cover letters as well as for orientating them on career level and detecting and utilizing their talents and personal skills.

Language is the window to a culture, and at the same time an integral part of a culture.
The overarching learning goal of my classes is for students to:
a) master Chinese/English (speaking, reading, listening, writing) at different levels through various teaching activities which engage, challenge and motivate them at corresponding levels,
b) experience a different culture and acquire a different (new) perspective of looking at the world through the language they are learning.

I will provide customized learning materials and handouts, and share various learning resources.

For beginners, you will be introduced basic daily expressions, the pinyin system and basic grammars.
For advanced learners, you will learn intermediate grammars with the purse of gaining the competence to conduct daily conversations, read simple articles, type, and write in Chinese.

Mandarin is not as complicated as you think, and it could be funny and interesting!

The expected outcome from the courses :
During the conversation with native speakers, your mandarin expression of speaking will be sharpened and level up increasingly. By the practice, you could tell the difference between nuance and intonation based on the various situations.

I am from Taiwan and have an educational background in teaching Mandarin and English for primary school pupils.

I have studied in Japan and the UK, currently, located in Den Bosch.

I am originally from Malaysia but I have been living in Denmark for the past 5 years. However, English is my first language.

I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the language. Therefore, during the lesson, I will incorporate tasks and activities involving these 3 aspects. We will also go through basic grammar rules that will be useful for both writing and daily conversations.

I will provide printed worksheets and assignments (included in the fees of the lesson) to be done during the lesson and also as homework. Workbooks may be provided at an additional cost which you can work with on your own at home after the lesson. This is of course highly recommended for your own benefit as practice makes perfect.
