My name is Roberta and I come from Umbria, the beautiful Italian region known as “The green heart of Italy”.I was born in Terni, the town of Saint Valentine. I am a teacher of Italian for foreigners, English and Spanish, a writer and a promoter of "beautiful coloured threads" (places,people, books, food and wine experiences, clothing, bags,jewels , perfumes, cosmetics, make up and much more that deserves to be known). After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature at Roma Tre University (Rome,Italy) I decided to focus on Italian teaching for foreigners, got two Masters Degrees (“Media Education and Didactic planning” ,“ Theory and Methodology to teach Italian to foreigners”), the Dilit International House Diploma for teacher of Italian to foreigners and attended many training courses to implement my teaching skills. I have been teaching Italian to foreigners since 1999 : my students come from UK, China (Marco Polo Programme “Tor Vergata” University in Rome), Spain, Portugal,Germany, Romania, USA, Australia, Hungary, France, Brazil, South Africa, Poland and Russia. I also have been teaching Spanish (from A1 to B2 level) and English (from A1 to C1 level) in State Schools, Private Schools and as a free lance Tutor from 1998. I teach both to children and adults (1 to one lessons / group lessons, also by Skype)I organize language and creative workshops and meetings "Can we tell each other only beautiful things?" and "Let's talk about beautiful books!" both for children and adults. My students love my enthusiasm and they always get excellent results.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.

You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. This unique blend of experiences equips me with a strong and relevant teaching approach. I possess an intimate understanding of both cultures, enabling me to tailor my classes to the specific needs of my students.

My teaching journey began during my time studying social work in French-speaking Switzerland. I started offering private French and English lessons to supplement my income, and I quickly discovered my passion for it. Even after graduating and embarking on a full-time career, I couldn't bear to give up this rewarding activity. I cherished the opportunity to connect with diverse individuals and assist them in achieving their language goals.

My approach is highly adaptable, with a focus on addressing each student's unique priorities. Some simply aspire to acquire a new language to enrich their general knowledge. I also specialize in teaching younger children, a testament to my educational background and experience.

I'm Giorgia and I come from Torino, Italy.
I offer my native knowledge of Italian to any of you, who wants to discover this beautiful language.

I teach for all levels, from very beginners to advanced speakers, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I can also help with university exams and school works/assignments.
Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

The lesson is intended to meet the student needs: the focus can be on the grammar, conversation or literature. In case of a middle-level speaker, the lesson will cover all four language's abilities: listening, speaking, writing and reading. My suggestion of a well planned lesson is, for any level, to divide it into two parts: grammar first and then conversation (covering all the abilities mentioned above).
