About Me

I have been playing the piano since I was 7, but found my love for the marimba at aged 9, and consequently for percussion joining a junior conservatoire at 14.

Being taught by some of the greatest percussionists to date, including Dame Evelyn Glennie and Anthony Kerr, I hope to inspire all my future students to ignite their passion for music and performance, as they have for me.

The English Literature and English Language GCSES are tougher than ever, I know this as i sat my GCSEs in the summer of 2018. Having achieved 8’s in both English Literature and English Language (equivalent to the old A*) i am now studying both the subjects at A level, along with Religious Studies (which i got a 9/A** in at GCSE). I have an aptitude for English; a passion for writing, an avid reader and a wide interest in linguistics.
Having sat the exams only last year, i know all the tricks in the books to passing the exam. I have plenty of resources that i can share with you that will aid you in: structural techniques, analytical skills, confidence, time management and much more.

At GCSE, I scored 9 in mathematics and an A in additional mathematics. I am current taking standard mathematics in the International Baccalaureate which I am currently predicted to score an 7. I feel confident and competent to support any young person with their mathematical journey. The 11+ (or Kent Test as it is also known) can be a daunting prospect for both students and parents. However, as a trained teacher with years of experience in preparing students for the 11+, I am here to prove it can be really fun to study and there's no reason to feel overwhelmed.
