About Me

I am a native Chinese, born and educated in China. I have a master’s degree in English Linguistics and Literature. Before I came to the Netherlands, I have been an English University teacher for more than ten years. I speak standard Chinese and have obtained the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. I also have a Certificate of Putonghua (Mandarin) Proficiency Test, Level I-B.

In 2014, I came to work in the Netherlands. I give Chinese language courses to students of different levels, and design one-on-one courses, which are tailor-made to individual students with different needs and requirements. Also, I give cultural workshops, translate all kinds of documents.

This is the basic version of my Chinese lessons which is suited for motivated learners who are committed to spending 2-4 high quality hours per week for self study outside of the class. The general structure lesson revolves around review from previous sessions, assigned exercises and the new chapter of textbook. It is encouraged to leave questions about the language on Google classroom as well.
