Former statistics assistant (bac 1 & 2) at the FPSE, I now offer my services for private lessons in statistics
From 58 C$ /h
Graduated from the Faculty of Psychology (FPSE) in 2021, I already offered statistics courses during my years of study.
After graduating, I was hired at the University of Mons as a Teaching Assistant for remediation in mathematics (as part of success assistance) and for statistics courses 1 and 2 (at Basics for Descriptive and Inferential Statistical Analysis & Parametric and Non-Parametric Quantitative Techniques).
These materials no longer hold any secrets for me and I am ready to put all my knowledge and all my energy at the service of your success. These lessons will take place at your own pace, and above all, in a good mood.

About Me
Having graduated with a degree in psychology from UMONS in 2021, I have been teaching statistics for over 7 years. I started teaching in my second year of undergraduate studies, while I was still a student myself. This experience has given me a good understanding of the common problems encountered in statistics!
At the end of my studies, I was recruited as a teaching assistant by the FPSE department, which teaches statistics courses ("Fundamentals for Descriptive and Inferential Statistical Analysis" and "Parametric and Non-Parametric Quantitative Techniques"). For a year, I mentored students and provided remedial support in mathematics. I am therefore intimately familiar with the course content and exam expectations.
During that same year, I mentored students in writing their dissertations and served on defense panels. Today, I also offer support for dissertations, whether for the statistical section or the entire work, with a thorough understanding of what a jury expects.
I have since moved into the field of data science, where statistics are part of my daily life. Teaching, however, remains a passion that I continue to cultivate with pleasure. I primarily tutor students in the Faculty of Economics and Management (FPSE), but also students in marketing, physiotherapy, and other fields, depending on the needs.
My approach is based on two principles. First, making each concept simple: I explain it in clear terms and, if necessary, from several angles, until I find the one that resonates with you. Second, getting straight to the point: no unnecessary details, I focus on the material that truly matters on exam day. All of this is done at your own pace and in a supportive environment, because what motivates me most is seeing my students progress and succeed.

Education
I obtained my bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences in 2019 (with High Distinction) and my master's degree in Work and Organizational Psychology in 2021 (with Highest Distinction). I have now resumed my studies in the field of Data and AI in Paris.
Experience / Qualifications
I give private lessons in statistics, mainly to first and second year Bachelor's students at the FPSE in Mons.
The sessions last 2 hours and are tailored to your needs:
- Go through the entire course again, from the beginning and at your own pace, to build a solid foundation.
- Focus on a specific point of content when a particular concept is blocking you.
- Train for the exam, with exercises to put you in the right conditions and identify what is expected.
- To make progress on your thesis, whether it be for the statistical part (choice of analyses, data processing, interpretation and writing of results) or for more global support for your work.
In all cases, the goal is the same: for you to understand what you are doing, rather than simply memorizing statistics. Choosing the right test, knowing why it is being used, and correctly interpreting the results is what makes the difference, both in exams and in dissertations.
All this in a supportive environment, focusing on what is important to avoid unnecessary stress!
