Science (Including Chemistry and Biology) for GCSE Students
From 28.8 C$ /h
I specialise in tutoring toward (UK) exam achievement with enjoyable sessions.
My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.
This class is for ambitious middle school students (13-16) and young pupils hoping to get a better grasp of their biosciences. I had a natural grasp for science from early secondary
home cooks. The focus is to learn how to cook five very simple and healthy recipes for yourself and your family. You'll learn a variety of cooking techniques to cut down on costs and time in a relaxed and fun cooking environment. If you are an absolute beginner, don't worry, my eight-year-old son is able to make most of these recipes.

About Me
I am an enthusiastic tutor, committed and interested in students; specifically in encouraging and directing them to academic achievement in a friendly and (hopefully!) enjoyable style.
I will be tutoring in GCSE Biology & Chemistry as well as any Primary subject by request. I currently have over 2 years of experience, having tutored for Explore Learning in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning amongst other subjects. I also worked voluntarily for an educational social enterprise over the pandemic for pupils from underprivileged backgrounds for a year and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and tasks this involved.
My GCSE approach is to focus on key exam-emphasised areas of the syllabus as I believe this in turn boosts exam performance. This will be with respect to each individual exam board as required by the student. Personally, I enjoyed secretly utilising CGP's classic exam board revision guides outside the classroom, to the shock of my peers and teachers with my grades!
I once was discounted and not maximising my potential as a student, so I understand this feeling and state of mind for a student, and am ready to help improve your learning experience to reach higher heights!
