Hello! My name is Kelechi, and I am an aspiring maths tutor with a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I got a grade 9 in IGCSE Maths, so I know what is required to get top grades and how hard the subject can feel at times.

Each one-hour lesson will be custom-designed to help you gain understanding and confidence as you learn with me. We will cover the topic in detail so that you fully understand the main concepts before you start applying them to exam-style questions. As your confidence grows, we will work our way up to the more difficult questions so that you will be well prepared for your exams.

It would be the first time I teach online, but I believe I have good experience from teaching my classmates. I like to simplify difficult concepts to make them easy to understand, and always tell students to ask questions any time they are not sure of anything.

My goal is to create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment where you feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and develop the skills required to get the best grade you possibly can. I would love the opportunity to help you reach your maths goals!

I offer personalised online mathematics lessons for secondary and high-school students, including preparation for SAT Math, school examinations, university entrance tests and other mathematics assessments.

Each student begins with an assessment of their current level, strengths and knowledge gaps. Based on the results, I create an individual study plan that matches the student’s goals and available preparation time.

During lessons, I explain difficult concepts clearly and step by step, demonstrate effective problem-solving methods and guide students through practice and exam-style questions. Students actively participate in the solution process, analyse their mistakes and learn how to approach unfamiliar problems independently.

Topics may include arithmetic, algebra, equations, inequalities, functions, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics and introductory calculus.

I am a qualified mathematics teacher with a Specialist Diploma with Honours in Mathematics and Computer Science Education and more than 15 years of teaching experience. My aim is to help students improve their results, strengthen their mathematical reasoning and become more confident and accurate.

Lessons are conducted online and are adapted to beginners, intermediate students and advanced learners.
