Russian for Foreigners: Speak Naturally and Confidently
From 22 C$ /h
Hi there!
My name is Hanna. And I am happy to meet you here 😊
My credo is simple: love what you teach and love the people you teach.
I work with students of all levels, both adults and children. In the first class, we will identify your level of Russian.
With my students, I work on
1) understanding spoken Russian,
2) clear and natural pronunciation,
3) reading and understanding texts,
4) expanding vocabulary,
5) grammar that you can actually use,
6) speaking without translating every word in your head,
7) and, with kids, overcoming letter-by-letter reading and mirror writing (N-И, R-Я).
I am strongly against cramming and learning things that you will never use in real life or everyday conversations. That is why I always rely on material that is relevant to real life and real communication.
About my lessons:
- creative plans,
- boundless energy,
- friendly atmosphere,
- inspiration,
- my strong belief in your potential!
I will help you fall in love with Russian and make progress day by day.
And believe me, no one is "not talented enough" to speak Russian. If you want to learn, we will find a way to make it work.

About Me
I am a teacher who truly believes in every student's potential. I don’t believe in “difficult” students; sometimes a teacher hasn’t found the right approach yet.
One of my strongest qualities as a teacher is my ability to see each student as an individual.
I focus on helping students develop their strengths while also working carefully on the areas that need improvement.
I know how to adjust the learning pace and workload, and I can be demanding when I clearly see that a student is capable of more than they believe themselves.
At the same time, I remain patient and calm when we need to go over something multiple times until it finally becomes clear.
In everyday life, I’m a cheerful and curious person. I enjoy humor and meaningful conversations, and I’m interested in many different topics. Because of that, I always enjoy learning new things from my students as well. Every student is unique and brings their own experiences and perspectives, and I love discussing those during our lessons.
Seeing my students’ progress is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. Their results motivate me to keep growing as a teacher and to bring even more value to people who are interested in learning Russian.

Education
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from European Humanities University. During my studies, I developed strong skills in communication, language analysis, and working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
My academic background helped me better understand how language works not only as a system of grammar and vocabulary, but also as a tool for connection, expression, and cultural exchange. These studies strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and accessible way, which is an important part of effective teaching.
