I like teaching English, especially for teenagers because they are independent and I have a lot of experience teaching teenagers. I am teaching by using a variety of methods. I usually give some games to my students such as broken telephone, pantomime, guessing game and they are enthusiasts to learn English. Besides that, I teach speaking both dialogue or monologue. I do role play in the classroom such as role-play in fast food restaurants. I give the students a short conversation and they do it in pairs in front of the class. The setting looks like real things because I also prepare the fast-food restaurant equipment. For teaching monologue, I ask the students to tell their favorite things or do a simple procedure like how to make a cup of hot chocolate. I can teach all language skills.

I have 5 years of teaching experience, both formal and informal institutions. I used to teach kids, teenagers, and adults. But, mostly I teach teenagers. It is fun teaching teenagers because not only teaching English but I can share stories and experiences with them and I like to give some advice about the school, teachers, relationships, friendships, and etc. I use some methods to teach English like answer and question, communicative language teaching, the natural approach, and audio-lingual methods. Using various methods can make learning English more interesting and the students will be more confident and active in practicing English.

I gain my bachelor of education from the Indonesia University of Education in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Then now, I am doing my master’s degree in the School of Postgraduate Studies, English Education program from the same university and I am in the third semester and next year hopefully I am going to start writing my research proposal. I have a good TOEFL score and a good cumulative GPA.
