French teaching | Basic and Advanced levels (for any age)
From 21.64 C$ /h
As I traveled and got to know some people, I have noticed that lots of them would ask me for teaching them French. Some did not know where to start, some have improved in learning process but were looking for levelling up.
As a self-learner myself, I understand the difficulty behind it. Therefore, I would like to put my service online. I will try not to be your regular teacher; I enjoy meeting people, sharing diverse ideas, so I will tend to be friendly. I also understand that some people want to learn French deeper, therefore, if needed, I will switch to a more professional approach.
You may notice later that I like politeness and simplicity, my teaching method may not interest you if you just are looking for learning profanities for instance.
Note: I am very patient and have great experiences with young children, therefore if you would like me to teach them French, I’d be happy to help.

Depending on where you are, we can discuss about what to use as a support. I enjoy the good old pen and paper, but if needed, we shall use electronic devices.

About Me
My name is Lisa. I am currently doing a Master in Chemistry in Northern Sweden.
I am born in Congo and, from the moment I turned three to the year I became 13, I have moved between France and Congo every other year. I have settled in France until I become 20 , then I moved to Sweden.
I'd describe myself as feminine, cartesian, patient, and observant. I enjoy meeting new people, it could be anywhere. I am known to have excellent manners, to be a great host and guest, to be kind, considerate, smily, funny, and very weird (I posses all sorts of weirdness hahah).
I am a late bilingual. Although French is my mother tongue, I turn out not to have a French accent, according to my family and friends.
I have visited a few countries in the meantime; all The United States, Holland Germany and Luxembourg, all for one day. I spent from a week to a month in Belgium, Spain and Canada. Finally, I have lived for a few months in Austria.
As I am in an "international city", I have met people from many places and have developed close friendships; turns out we enjoy coffee shops and food a lot!
I have learnt, English, Spanish, and a little bit of German in school. I had started learning Russian and Italian languages, and the Hangeul alphabet a few years ago, but I stopped, and I am currently learning Swedish.
Having me as a teacher shall depend on who your personality. I tend to be a chameleon and adapt to the person I am facing. However, you will always see parts of my personality expressing themselves, that's why I presented myself above.
Information below are not related to languages, but are here in case you'd like to know more about my hobbies.
Related to my field of study, I enjoy the complexity of Organic Chemistry, the techniques used in Analytical Chemistry, the art of report writing, the duality behind Biochemistry, and the popular field of Environmental Chemistry.
I love gastronomy; for me, it's more than preparing food, I enjoy learning about the basics like the knives' types, the difference between ingredients, and so on.
I love photography! I am a visual person, therefore, I find a lot of satisfaction in my photographies. I like them minimalist and on a macro level preferably.
I like fashion a lot; again, I rarely develop my passions on the surface level. Thus, I find pleasure in getting to marry colours, textures, learning about fibres and fabrics, distinguishing good quality from bad quality.

Education
Bachelor in Life Science (started in Paris, France and finished in Umea, Sweden), bases in medicine (studied for one year in Paris, France), currently doing a Master in Chemistry
Experience / Qualifications
I have little experiences here and there in pharmacy and Biochemistry.
I have passed my TOEFL in 2018 (score 92), and I have attend a A1 class in Swedish (at Folkuniversitet). My latest OLS English result shows a C1 level.
I have a great background about communication with people from other places in the worlds; I used to be on a website that promoted teaching languages to people; I have met some Vietnamese, Korean (who I have met in Paris later), Chinese, Swedish, Ukrainian, and German people, and helped them improving their English.
I have spent most of my childhood taking care of my younger cousins and cousines, so I am comfortable with communicating with little boys and girls.
