About Me

Hi! I’ve been teaching English since early 2013, and over the years, I’ve had the chance to work with students of all ages—from young kids to adults. I started out teaching children, then moved on to teenagers and adults, covering a mix of general English and public speaking. I really enjoy helping people grow their confidence in using English, whether it’s for school, work, or everyday life. My goal is always to make learning fun, practical, and encouraging for everyone in my class.

I graduated from the English Education Department at UIN Suska Riau University, Indonesia, where I developed a strong foundation in English language teaching, linguistics, and educational methods.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve been teaching English to a wide range of learners—from young children to teenagers and adults. My journey started in 2013, and since then, I’ve taught general English, public speaking, and currently, I’m teaching English for IGCSE and AS Level students.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.
