I am a Brazilian Portuguese conversation tutor for foreigners, and I speak English and Spanish. I have a degree in Portuguese and English Languages.

My classes are mainly focused on conversation, listening comprehension, and real communication in Brazilian Portuguese.

The focus of the lessons is to develop fluency, confidence, and natural communication skills through conversation. For this reason, I do not work with extensive writing exercises or overly theoretical lessons.

I create a comfortable environment where you can express yourself freely, make mistakes without fear, and develop fluency gradually and naturally.

Each lesson is personalized according to your level, interests, and communication style. Some students prefer free-flowing conversations, while others prefer more guidance and structured conversation practice — both are welcome.

In the first lesson, we will talk about:

Based on this, we will develop a personalized practice plan for you.

Types of lessons:

Free conversation practice
Free-flowing conversation without a fixed topic. Ideal for students who want to speak naturally, develop fluency, and practice real communication with only light corrections and support during the conversation.

Guided conversation practice
Conversation with a light structure and a chosen topic. Ideal for students who want to practice speaking with more guidance, personalized feedback, and optional simplified grammar explanations.
The topic can be chosen by either the student or the tutor.

These lessons can also work for beginners (A1–A2) who want to develop speaking and communication skills from the beginning in a more natural and practical way.

After each lesson, you may receive in your Google Drive folder:

Hello! I'm Danilo, a native Brazilian Portuguese teacher who enjoys helping students communicate with confidence in real-life situations. I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard.
