About Me
A creative STEM teacher with passion for helping his students discover the beauty of science & technology. Develops strong rapport with students and colleagues whilst promoting innovation in learning methods.
I worked for 5 years in secondary schools in London, UK where I taught Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
I also worked in a secondary SEN school as their Science Teacher. The personal relationship when teaching 1:1 or 1:2 children with learning difficulties, or special emotional needs is a very challenging task but offers great satisfaction when you realize how much progress students 11-18 y.o. have done thanks to your individualised and innovative approach.
I am also an Examiner of IGCSEs A-Level Physics (Cambridge Board).
Before becoming a full-time teacher I used to work as a tutor and also devoted considerable time volunteering as a Boy Scout Leader, which has significantly helped me in understanding teenagers and gave insights into topics like Gamification and Edutainment, which I consider are becoming essential parts of today's teaching methods.
