Private tutoring in Physics and/ or Mathematics
From 48.31 C$ /h
As a Bachelor of Physics student at EPFL (currently in my 3rd year), I offer private tutoring in mathematics and physics, from secondary/gymnasium level up to the first year of university.
My background covers a broad spectrum: quantum mechanics, analysis and physics, mathematics, thermodynamics, numerical methods, and optics. This solid foundation allows me to support students preparing for high school graduation exams or pre-university level, as well as those in the first years of higher education (EPFL, UNIL, preparatory classes).
My method prioritizes rigor and in-depth understanding rather than rote learning: we revisit each step of a line of reasoning or demonstration until the concept is truly grasped, with targeted exercises to consolidate.
Courses available in person (Lausanne region) or via videoconference, with an interactive whiteboard to follow the calculations live.
Feel free to contact me to discuss your specific needs (level, subject matter, objectives).

About Me
Passionate about physics and mathematics, I love sharing what I'm passionate about and helping students truly understand a concept rather than just memorize it by heart. I adapt to each student's pace and level: some need to go back over the basics, others are looking to deepen their knowledge or prepare for a specific exam.
My own experience as a science student taught me the importance of clear, progressive teaching — I know how much good support can make a difference when a concept doesn't "click" right away. So I try to offer several different angles of explanation until it really sinks in, followed by exercises to reinforce it.
I'm available both for one-off help before an exam and for regular ongoing support.

Education
French Baccalauréat, "Très Bien" honors (2024) — Lycée Regnault, Tangier — overall average ~18/20, 19/20 in physics, 20/20 in mathematics
Participated in the Physics Olympiad (10th and 12th grade) and the Concours Général in Physics (12th grade, Lycée Français du Qatar Bonaparte)
EPFL — Bachelor's in Physics (mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics and wave physics, quantum mechanics) and advanced mathematics (analysis, algebra), currently in 3rd year (Ba5)

Experience / Qualifications
Solid background covering mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics and wave physics, quantum mechanics, as well as advanced mathematics (analysis, algebra) — a foundation that allows me to support students from secondary/high school level up to first-year university.
Teaching experience: substitute teaching assistant for EPFL's physics preparatory course (mise à niveau), and teaching assistant during S4S (EPFL's integration week), where I taught and supported students directly.
