Dr. Mathilde is a materials scientist with expertise in biomaterials, rheology, and additive manufacturing for biomedical and tissue engineering applications. She obtained her PhD (2022) at INSA Lyon (France), focusing on the optimization of ceramic pastes for 3D printing and the relationship between rheological behavior, printability, and final mechanical properties. During her PhD, she also conducted research at Imperial College London (UK) within the Centre for Advanced Structural Ceramics.
She pursued postdoctoral positions at INSERM Paris and Lille, where she developed hydrogels for bone tissue engineering, scaled up formulations for biomedical startups, and implemented point-of-care 3D printing facilities in hospitals. Her current research focuses on the design of biomineralized hydrogels, direct ink writing, and soft-matter constructs for tissue regeneration and surgical applications.
