Both maths and physics are a necessity during school life, although some find it difficult. I am here to show that these topics are not difficult at all if taught in the right way, and can even become very enjoyable. Not everyone learns in the same way, so I want to focus on understanding how each student thinks and teaching the subject so it will stick with them for life.

Mathematics is important for any student throughout everyday life but particularly for those of you studying GCSE , IGCSE or SATs maths. These classes with cover the basic skills you need to be able to do your maths exams. I can also Taylor a class to your child’s specific needs based on where there weaknesses within the subject falls.

I have been a tutor for the past 3 years teaching both Maths and English to children from Primary School Level to GCSE. I have also tutored Mathematics A-level to a variety of students remotely. I enjoy working with children and young adults especially tutoring as it gives me great satisfaction to know that I have made a difference when it comes to their career. Tutoring at more than 4 tutoring companies across the UK has given me the opportunity to learn how to deliver successful and efficient lessons. Having to deliver lessons both online and face to face has allowed me to adapt to fast changing environments and be able to satisfy individual students' needs as every student is different.

CURRENTLY TEACHING 11 PLUS FOR A STUDENT

English, Maths and Science Tutor
Teaching:
- KS1/KS2 English, Science, Maths
- GCSE Science and English
- A level English literature

Provide consultation to find out teaching style, goals, weaknesses, strengths and how to improve work for the first meeting.

Proceed to do a mini test for the subjects required to find out weaknesses and build on those specific topics to improve these.

Lesson format will be personalised towards the student e.g. visual learners for students who struggle with focusing will need more interactive questions and powerpoint slides for the lesson or students who struggle with time management need mini tests to improve on speed of answering questions which can progress from mini tests to a larger exam.

Rewards are provided as an incentive for students to keep working hard for their grades and success.

Every lesson will show a detailed printed report to show parents and students areas to improve, comments, weaknesses and strengths.

Every two weeks there will be a record of progress in results too.

Learn English and Math right up to GCSE level with me. I am fun, young and enthusiastic and have a wide range of knowledge in more than just English and Math. I could not have got through my professional life so far without them! Pass GCSEs first time so you don’t have to worry about them later in life!

I mainly teach mathematics, all levels up to A-level, including further maths. I was also a Software Engineer for 3 years so can come up with coding exercises too. I can teach Physics up to GCSE level. My degree was in Aeronautical Engineering (Imperial College London), so I'm particularly strong in engineering related topics, though i also implemented statistical algorithms for my job, so happy to teach stats too. If you need help in Chemistry and biology i can almost definitely help up to GCSE level.
My ideal lesson would be implementing solutions to math, science and engineering problems, in code.

I have tutored in sciences and maths for the past couple of years and have a strong passion for Chemistry. I have recently graduated from the University of Kent with a first class degree in Chemistry and am now working in the field of science. The tutoring began with a small group set up through my secondary school and then progressed to me seeing students outside of school. One of these students has now increased by three grades in maths!!
I am confident in tutoring all areas of Chemistry, Biology and Maths at GCSE level and will progressively work through the course which can be tailored to students needs.
I personally find the best way to learn is a combination between consolidating knowledge and then furthering that knowledge through past papers and analysis of mark schemes. The understanding of what the examiners are looking for is crucial in order to achieve high marks and sometimes students can move up grades with no extra knowledge and purely through the understanding of exam techniques.
The goal is to help students enjoy learning and feel supported in crucial years of their life.
