A Level, GCSE Physics and Maths tutoring, all exam boards.

Experienced tutor, First Class Honours at UCL, studied & researched in the US, researched with CERN. Research experience in high energy particle physics and machine learning & AI. Can teach all boards of GCSE/A-Level physics and maths.
The key to success comes down to:
1) A fundamental understanding of an equation (we all think in different ways so we must discover what's best for you)
2) Continuous question and past paper practice (and at some point it will feel like you just know what the mark scheme will say without seeing it)
I was once in your position... In fact, honestly, I didn't like physics/maths at GCSE/A-Level. Somehow fate drove me to get a Master's degree in physics anyway, and I ended up working on cutting-edge particle accelerator physics at CERN. Now I work on the next generation of AI (as a software engineer in Japan), where I use my physics and maths knowledge everyday to build medical technology software and devices that diagnose diseases like cancer.
One thing I wish I knew when I was younger was the importance of physics and maths on the progess of society (even the world wide web was invented by physicists at CERN!). I hope that if you're currently not enjoying the subject, I can make it inspiring for you.

About Me
Built a relationship based on trust - I want my students to be free to ask me questions no matter how basic or silly they may think it is. In my experience, that's how I've learnt the most.
Inspire interest in the subject - by understanding the true weight of what you learn for its applications in the real world, you will have a *reason* to learn. When I understood that, learning didn't become a chore but a necessity, whether you want to become a banker to build statistical models to leverage optimal profits from your portfolio, or an engineer to develop the next generation of electrical vehicles, or a scientist to develop technology to diagnose and cure the increasing rate of cancerous diseases. What we learn now defines our future society. I come from a family of teachers. I feel a strong responsibility to share my knowledge back to those who need it.
