Mathematics is something that every educated person must know to process, evaluate, and understand the numerical and graphical information in our society. Mathematics is crucial to young children sit enables them to enhance their mathematical thinking and provides them with essential life skills such as problem-solving, analyzing, expanding their own spatial awareness, and teaches them how to use and fully comprehend shapes

My goal is to prepare young children for middle school and high school.

Throughout this class, elementary students will learn:

- adding and subtracting decimals
- adding and subtracting fractions
- multiplying and dividing decimals

- converting units of measure

Middle school students will learn:

Homework relevant to the topics they are taught in school will be assigned weekly along with periodic quizzes to see where the student is academically and what he/she requires more support with. Monthly emails will be sent out to parents regarding their kids and how they are doing in my class.
