UCAT (UKCAT) Preparation Tutoring Sessions and Practice Questions
From 115.34 C$ /h
Having completed my undergraduate medical studies at the University of Cambridge, I am now a doctor undertaking my postgraduate speciality training at a Cambridge University affiliated hospital. I specialise in tutoring students for the UCAT exam, preparing them for all 5 subtests of the exam including: verbal reasoning, decision making, quantitative reasoning, abstract reasoning and situational judgement. The tutoring is in the form of a structured course (typically 12-15 hours) and I provide reading material about the exam, guided practice during sessions and practice questions as homework. I provide mainly online tutoring, but I can consider in-person tutoring in the Cambridge area.

About Me
As a medical student in Cambridge, I was involved in teaching other students, including starting the St Edmund’s College MedVetSoc, organising and delivering medical talks. Being the society’s academic officer, I co-founded a 6-month long, peer-led teaching program, providing clinical teaching to pre-clinical students. In my final year, I was a clinical supervisor for 4th year medical students on clinical rotations, delivering bedside and didactic sessions. During my postgraduate medical training, I taught junior colleagues, whilst also proactively teaching medical students on clinical attachments. For the past year I have been a mentor for the PsychStart program of the University of Cambridge, guiding aspiring students in psychiatry.
Currently, I teach medical students on psychiatric wards, receiving exceptional feedback from the consultant overseeing the university’s psychiatry program. Recently, I have also taken up a facilitator role for the university’s virtual reality simulation course, for final year medical students. Furthermore, I am expanding my teaching skills by undertaking a postgraduate certificate in medical education at the University of Aberdeen.
With all my previous and current experience in teaching students, I am now offering tutoring in medical admission tests, namely the UCAT (previously known as UKCAT).
