I specialise in teaching Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to GCSE students, who are struggling in them. I make sure to keep the students engaged during the lesson and assign homework after the lesson (sometimes) to give the students more than enough practice. Sometimes a little push is all one needs to tap into their potential and achieve what they want and this is what I strive to achieve during our lessons.

My name is Advay and I'm 18. I am a very open-minded and methodical person who is here to listen to the student and provide the correct kind of help they need. The student can come to the lesson with a topic beforehand and I will cover everything they need to know in a direct and detailed manner, by teaching all the required knowledge, answering any and all questions, making the student solve problems and giving them additional homework if they require. I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.
