Hello! My name is Andrew. I am a First-Class Mathematics Graduate from the University of Edinburgh with experience in teaching mathematics to high school children and first-year undergraduate mathematicians.
I am looking to help more students with their work in mathematics and encourage them with any questions they have about any topic of their choice or may find more difficult. I have been a student in mathematics myself as well as learning courses about how best children and students learn mathematics and so I believe I can really be of benefit as I have been in their shoes and can empathize with them.
My classes would be remote and I am happy to work on any topic in mathematics that the children or student is finding they need some extra work on.

Experience / Qualifications
I have taught final year school children and first year undergraduate students at the University of Edinburgh in Mathematics. I was able to prepare and deliver lessons successfully to both groups of 30 students as well as 1 on 1 lessons. In each case, I found out through my students that my lessons helped the students improve their knowledge of a mathematics.
My final year dissertation was on Mathematics Education and how undergraduate mathematics students think about the way they learn topics. I have used this work to help enhance my knowledge on the best ways students learn and will be able to take this forward into my teaching and to help more students learn mathematics more effectively.
