Primary school maths will include any ages from 4-11. It helps massively to be given the student’s particular weakness so I can target them and help them understand, as well as coming to the lesson prepared with resources.
For 11+, I have practice papers that I can go through with the student, letting them have a go themselves then stepping in when help is needed. This encourages independence without reinforcing incorrect methods.

I am 19 years old and have just finished my first year at university studying ‘Mathematics & Statistics’. I completely understand the stress of exams seeing as I only sat my GCSE’s 3 years ago (and my A-Levels 1!) so I want to help as much as possible to remove any extra stress.
Maths is a common subject to find difficult, so I want to help students feel more confident in themselves and the subject. Through the years, I have learned many different ways to answer the same question at GCSE level, and I know this can help when the initial methods aren’t understood.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels.
