I’m from Luxembourg and I have a background in natural sciences and mathematics. I enjoy helping students understand mathematics in a simple and practical way, especially when a concept initially seems complicated or abstract. I care more about a student knowing why a method works than memorising the steps, because understanding is what survives exam pressure when a question is worded unfamiliarly. Lessons are structured but relaxed. Students should feel comfortable asking the questions they think are silly, because those are usually the ones that matter most.

I'm patient with mistakes and honest about what still needs work. If a student isn't ready for a topic, I'll say so and we'll go back a step rather than pretend otherwise.
