Every student is different. Each student has their own personality, learning style, strengths, challenges, and individual pace of learning. For this reason, I believe that effective teaching should be adapted to the individual student rather than applying the same fixed strategy to everyone.

Before beginning regular lessons, I therefore offer a free online introductory session. This gives me an opportunity to meet the student and parent, understand the student's particular difficulties, discuss their learning needs and goals, and identify the areas where additional support may be required.

Based on this initial discussion, I can develop a personalized teaching approach suited to the student's age, current level, learning style, and individual needs. It also gives the student an opportunity to meet me and become comfortable with my teaching approach before regular lessons begin. There is no obligation to book regular lessons after this introductory session.

My lessons are conducted online in English and are particularly suitable for primary and middle-school students up to Grade 8 who need stronger foundations in Mathematics, Science, and basic Physics, help with homework and schoolwork, clearer explanations of difficult concepts, or greater confidence in their studies.

Extra information

Before our introductory session, please let me know about any particular concepts, topics, or areas of the subject that you find difficult or would especially like help with. This will help me understand where you need the most support and allow us to focus our lessons accordingly.

If possible, please also share the textbook, worksheets, class notes, assignments, or other school materials you are currently using. I can then follow your school's learning material and curriculum as closely as possible, while providing additional explanations, examples, and practice wherever needed.

About Me

I am Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahmood Aslam Bhutta, a PhD-qualified educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience. I completed my PhD from Graz University of Technology (TU Graz), Austria. I enjoy helping students understand Mathematics, Science, and Physics by explaining concepts in a simple, patient, and step-by-step manner.

I believe every student is different. Students have different personalities, learning styles, strengths, and areas of difficulty, so I do not believe in applying the same fixed teaching method to everyone. I first try to understand the student, identify the areas in which they are experiencing difficulty, and then adapt my teaching approach to their individual needs.

I particularly enjoy teaching fundamental concepts and helping younger students build strong foundations, confidence, and independent problem-solving skills. I welcome primary and middle-school students up to Grade 8 for online Mathematics, Science, and basic Physics lessons conducted in English.

My aim is not simply to help a student reach the correct answer, but to help them understand why and how a method works, so that they can eventually approach similar problems independently and confidently.

I have more than 25 years of teaching experience, including extensive experience conducting both online and in-person classes in Mathematics, Physics, Science, and related subjects.

I am a former Professor at the University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore, and currently work as Visiting Faculty at Superior University, Lahore, where I conduct both online and in-person classes.

I have extensive experience in online teaching and am comfortable using digital teaching tools to explain concepts clearly, solve problems step by step, share learning materials, and interact effectively with students in a virtual classroom.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.
