I teach maths of GCSE and A-levels. I can follow the full curriculum or I can provide support in specific topics on demand. For my classes can use standard material of various publishers that I posses and I am also open to follow any specific material the students use or prefer instead. On top of that, I can provide extra tips and help, in order to help the student with extra clarifications when needed. The lessons are held online via Skype. I use whiteboard software, which I share online with the student. During the lesson I am always open to questions.

About Me

Hi, I am from Greece and live in the UK. I am an experienced electrical and computer engineer qualified with a PhD and with more than a decade of working experience as a consultant engineer in industry with my own engineering consultancy company, in the UK. My first teaching experience was during my PhD times, where I taught exercises in the classroom and in the laboratory for various engineering subjects to undergraduate university students. Afterwards, my career was focused on research as a postdoctoral researcher and following that I worked for many years as an engineer and consultant in several places in the UK.

Since the Covid pandemic I have started working from home and especially the last three years, I have focused on teaching Maths for GCSE and A-levels to high school students online via Skype. I like the process of transferring my knowledge to the students and I am dedicated to helping the students with all their queries. I am patient and I like to answer questions of all levels and I am able to adapt my teaching style to the particular needs of each student. My aim is to understand the needs and the weaknesses, but also the strong points of the student, in order to help them reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

After my many years of career as an engineer in industry I decided to dedicate myself to teaching and especially mathematics because as Plato said "The highest form of pure thought is in mathematics."

Hi, my name is Federica and I am an astrophysicist. I obtained my PhD from ETH Zürich and, for over ten years, I have been working in international research teams, contributing to space missions such as ESA Euclid and NASA Roman, and collaborating with scientists from all over the world.

For more than ten years, I have also been active in teaching, tutoring and science communication.
