Maths for Primary School and Years 7/ 8/ 9 (Pre-GCSE)
From 49.98 C$ /h
In this class, we can discuss different methods for working out tricky problems. Struggling with percentages (or anything else)? We can absolutely look at that as well! We can also look at your homework together if there's any particular questions that are bugging you. Whatever it is in maths, I am here to help you. It will be a safe space for you to new methods of working things out or to just generally give things a go. It will be a judge-free and casual environment with no pressure to do anything quickly or correctly first time. Remember, not too long ago, I was in your position.
Extra information
I would recommend bringing a notepad/pen as well as some questions to look at together (from your homework for example-if you don't have any don't worry!)

About Me
Hi! I'm Sarah and I am so excited to be tutoring again!
From 2020-2022 I was a Maths and English tutor for Primary and Secondary School students. Seeing a child's face light up when they answered a question correctly or finally understood a concept really made my day and I want to continue making a difference in this way.
I realised there's many Maths, Science and English tutors, but subjects like Drama aren't as well recognised for tutoring as I think they should be. This is where I want to help. I want to be able to provide a safe space for students to try new concepts or experiment with scripts and answering questions, whilst being supported at the same time. Having done my GCSEs in the last 5 years, I still have a breadth of knowledge that I would love to pass onto others to help them succeed in this amazing subject. Whether it's the theory side or the practical side, I am happy to help. I have also been performing locally for 8 years so can bring both GCSE knowledge and outside knowledge to the sessions to help students truly excel. The arts are so important and I hope to make a difference.

This class is for students currently studying GCSE Drama who may want a little help with aspects such as text analysis, practical performance or writing about a performance. We can go into depth about what you may want to include in your review essay (e.g. lighting, colours etc) or talk about how to structure an answer. If you just want to have a read through your provided play (or any play for practice) and discuss it, we can do that. If you want to run your lines for your practical performance, or go over some example texts to get used to learning lines/interpreting scripts, we can do that as well. I achieved a Grade 7/A in GCSE Drama and continue to act locally. I want to make these sessions about you and we will work together to help you understand and achieve.
