Maths tutoring class for year 1 to GCSE foundation level
From 50 C$ /h
Hello,
This class will be available to those who require extra help with their mathematical skills. I tutor maths for the year groups 1-9 and GCSE foundation level.
I am a student currently studying for a Bsc in Biomedical Science. I am offering math lessons in London up to GCSE level.
I have experience in tutoring family members and in supporting other students while at secondary and sixth form in Mathematics. I have completed work experience at a primary school teaching English and Maths to children in years 1-6. I believe that I have what it takes to develop and implement tutoring plans that best fit a student's academic needs. I can work comfortably with people from diverse backgrounds and can exhibit patience with the ability to explain complex concepts in the simplest way possible.
CV can be available upon request.

About Me
Hello, I am Zainab.
I am a student at the university of Westminster studying biomedical science, hoping to study graduate entry medicine in the future. I have many hobbies such as reading, watching dramas and I love listening to music of all genres and languages.
I am very passionate about maths. It has always been my favourite subject so I have decided to tutor part time. A struggle I always had when exams came over was revision technique and so my main aim would be to also include this in the tutoring sessions to make sure that each student gets the marks they deserve.
My teaching method would replicate the revision techniques I use when studying. My aim for students would be to develop a deeper understanding and confidence on how to approach exam style questions. My approach will vary depending on the student's needs and learning style. I would first present a student with questions to get a clear idea of what they struggle with and what topics they need most help with. This would then help me create a study plan for each individual student. For students in younger years I would focus more on working on different questions and step by step rules of maths to give them a better foundation to be able to move on further.
