Mathematics for Poles living abroad, welcome!

From 52 C$ /h

Good morning!

I invite you to online math lessons for Polish children :)

Classes take place on the conceptboard.com board.
Tutoring is my only job, it's not a part-time job, so I devote myself 100% to it :)

I usually work with children and teenagers from Poland, but seeing the increasing interest from people living in Switzerland, I decided to expand my work to another country ;)
To go out of my way and help even more, I started learning on my own! what? "Mathematical" English :) I want to enrich my (fluent) English with mathematical vocabulary so that we can understand each other even better! :)

A little bit about me...

I am a Chemical Engineer from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wrocław.
Despite studying chemistry, my passion for mathematics won ;) I love what I do, I don't really have strict working hours, I'm constantly inventing something, improving it, posting free materials on Instagram... I just live by it :)

Classes take place on a virtual board, where we place the materials we are currently working on. The materials and my notes (written using a tablet and stylus) are available to students even outside school hours! The board is personal, different for everyone, so access to it is unlimited, you can always open it and look at the notes from the last classes :)

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies.

I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). I am also qualified to support students in preparing for international exams such as the SAT, the OMPT, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in all its variations: Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL).

Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics.

I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

If you’ve ever felt that science and math are difficult, it’s probably because no one showed you how to think like a problem solver.
In my classes, you’ll learn not just formulas or code but how to truly understand concepts, apply them, and build strong logical intuition.

I teach:
• 🔢 Mathematics: From algebra and calculus to applied problem-solving for real-world use.
• 💻 Computer Science: Coding fundamentals (Python, C++), algorithms, and logical thinking for beginners and intermediate learners.
• ⚛️ Physics: Mechanics, thermodynamics, and practical examples that make abstract ideas simple and visual.

As a Software Engineer and Master’s student in Engineering at Nagoya University, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience from real projects. My teaching approach is interactive, visual, and deeply focused on understanding over memorization.

Let’s turn complex problems into clear, step-by-step insights — and make learning something you genuinely enjoy.

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology).
Key topics that I teach for this course include:
• Calculus: Differentiation & integration, Multivariable calculus
• Linear Algebra: Matrices, vectors, systems of equations, Eigenvalues and eigenvectors
• Differential Equations: First- and second-order ODEs, Laplace transforms
• Complex Numbers: Polar form, Euler’s formula
• Vector Calculus: Gradient, divergence, curl, Line and surface integrals
• Series & Transforms: Taylor series, Fourier series

I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter.

If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)
