I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years.

The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies.

I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). I am also qualified to support students in preparing for international exams such as the SAT, the OMPT, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in all its variations: Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL).

Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics.

I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

If you’ve ever felt that science and math are difficult, it’s probably because no one showed you how to think like a problem solver.
In my classes, you’ll learn not just formulas or code but how to truly understand concepts, apply them, and build strong logical intuition.

I teach:
• 🔢 Mathematics: From algebra and calculus to applied problem-solving for real-world use.
• 💻 Computer Science: Coding fundamentals (Python, C++), algorithms, and logical thinking for beginners and intermediate learners.
• ⚛️ Physics: Mechanics, thermodynamics, and practical examples that make abstract ideas simple and visual.

As a Software Engineer and Master’s student in Engineering at Nagoya University, I bring both academic knowledge and hands-on experience from real projects. My teaching approach is interactive, visual, and deeply focused on understanding over memorization.

Let’s turn complex problems into clear, step-by-step insights — and make learning something you genuinely enjoy.

Passionate & empathetic teacher. I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured at the time as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths.

Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have 6 years of experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds both in a homework schools as well as via private teaching. In private teaching, I have experience tutoring people with learning disabilities (ADHD, Dyslexia, Discalculia and more), younger kids of ages 7-12 and older students preparing for their final baccalaureate exams in advanced maths/physics curriculums.

In my classes, I aim to:

- help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths
- clearly explain and break down topics
- give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization)
- help with ADHD & other learning disabilities
- give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life.

Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! My lessons will always be tailored to the individual needs of the student, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

Struggling with math, physics, or chemistry? You're not alone — these subjects are hard, and classroom explanations are rarely enough.
I offer personalized tutoring for middle school, high school, and early university students following the French Mission curriculum, the Moroccan national curriculum, or the international baccalaureate.
Topics covered:

Mathematics: algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, probability
Physics: mechanics, electricity, optics, thermodynamics
Chemistry: organic, inorganic, stoichiometry, reactions

My approach:
I don't re-explain the textbook — I identify exactly where your understanding breaks down and fix it from there. Each session is built around your specific difficulties, not a preset program.
I completed CPGE (Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles) in Mathematics and Physics before graduating as a State Engineer — I know these subjects at an advanced level and I know where students typically get lost.
Individual and small group sessions available. Online (worldwide) in French, Arabic, or English.

As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material!

We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition.

The sessions generally take place according to the following stages:

1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps.

2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises.

3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach.

4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively.

5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course.

I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach.

In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

Are you taking a mathematics exam in the second session?
I offer intensive support to review the basics, target important chapters and practice effectively on typical exercises.

I support higher education students, particularly at university, college and Solvay/ULB, to understand important concepts, redo practical exercises and practice on typical exam exercises.

My goal is simple: to help you understand the logic behind the methods, know when to use each formula, recognize the correct reasoning in a statement and gain autonomy when facing exercises.

Subjects covered according to your program:

• Limits and continuity:
Calculation of limits, indeterminate forms, left-hand and right-hand limits, limits at infinity, horizontal, vertical and oblique asymptotes, continuity and behavior of a function.

• Derivatives and function analysis:
rules of differentiation, derivative of a composite, logarithmic derivative, increasing/decreasing, extrema, convexity/concavity, inflection points, variation tables and complete graphical representation.

• Optimization:
maximum/minimum problems, economic optimization, cost functions, revenue, profit, elasticity, choice of method and interpretation of results.

• Functions with several variables:
partial derivatives, gradient, differentials, two-variable optimization, local extrema, Hessian matrix, first-order conditions and economic interpretation according to your course.

• Constrained optimization:
Lagrange method, budget constraint, utility maximization, cost minimization, Lagrange multipliers and interpretation of results.

• Linear algebra:
vectors, matrices, matrix operations, determinants, inverse matrices, rank of a matrix, systems of linear equations, Gauss's method and solving systems.

• Sequels and series:
arithmetic and geometric sequences, limits of sequences, convergence, sums, simple series and economic or financial applications according to your program.

• Integrals:
antiderivatives, definite integrals, area under a curve, simple calculation methods, graphical interpretation and applications.

• Financial mathematics:
Simple and compound interest, capitalization, discounting, present value, future value, annuities, monthly payments, equivalent rate, effective rate, loans, repayments, NPV, IRR and basic financial applications.

• Exam preparation:
reading statements, choosing the right method, identifying the formulas to use, typical exercises, past exams, guided corrections and problem-solving methods.

Method of working :

1. We quickly identify the chapters that are causing problems;
2. I re-explain the theory with simple examples;
3. We redo the important exercises together;
4. I will show you how to recognize good reasoning in the exam;
5. We construct a clear method that can be reused independently.

I don't just provide a correction: I explain the reasoning step by step so that you are able to redo the exercises without help.

I have been giving private lessons for over 7 years in mathematics, statistics, economics, and accounting. I have also tutored first and second-year Bachelor's students at Solvay/ULB in mathematics, statistics, and microeconomics as part of a university tutoring program.

My professional experience in finance and business controlling at Deloitte has also allowed me to develop a very structured approach to numbers, analysis, financial models and problem-solving.

Courses available in French or English, online or in person in Brussels or the surrounding area.

Swiss-Focused Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry Tutoring – Passerelle, BMS, Berufsmaturität, Matura, Fachmaturität, QV & Adult Education

This class is designed for students and adult learners in Switzerland who want serious, structured and exam-focused support in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The main focus is preparation for Passerelle, BMS, Berufsmaturität, Matura, Fachmaturität and QV/final apprenticeship exams, as well as support for learners in adult education who are returning to study, changing career direction or preparing for a new academic path.

What makes my tutoring different is the strong connection to the Swiss education system. I completed my master’s degree at a University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland and have many years of experience teaching students in Switzerland. This means my lessons are not generic international tutoring. They are built around Swiss school expectations, Swiss exam styles, Swiss curricula and the specific challenges faced by learners in Switzerland.

➜ Special focus on Passerelle preparation
The Passerelle is one of the most demanding Swiss pathways because it requires strong discipline, independent thinking and solid exam technique. I help students prepare systematically in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry by working through the required theory, typical task types, old exams and exam-style practice.

➜ BMS and Berufsmaturität support
For BMS and Berufsmaturität students, I provide structured help in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, depending on the programme and exam requirements. We focus on building strong foundations, closing gaps and applying methods correctly in exam situations.

➜ Matura and Fachmaturität preparation
I support students preparing for Matura and Fachmaturität exams with clear explanations, relevant exercises and a structured learning plan. The lessons help students understand difficult topics, organize their knowledge and gain confidence before important assessments.

➜ QV / final apprenticeship exam preparation
Many vocational students need Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry for their QV/final apprenticeship exams, especially in technical, scientific, laboratory, healthcare or engineering-related fields. I help students connect theory with practical calculations and exam-style tasks.

➜ Adult education and returning learners
I also work with adult learners who are returning to education after a break, preparing for Passerelle, Berufsmaturität, Fachmaturität, QV or further studies. Adult learners often need a clear, respectful and efficient teaching style. I explain from the foundation upward, without judgment, and help rebuild confidence step by step.

➜ Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry taught with equal seriousness
The focus is not only Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry are also important, especially for Passerelle, Matura, Fachmaturität, technical BMS directions, QV exams and later studies. I explain formulas, concepts and calculations clearly so students understand the logic behind the subject.

➜ Old exams and Swiss-style practice
Where suitable, I use old exams, typical Swiss exam questions and realistic practice material. Students learn how questions are asked, how to recognize the correct method, how to structure their solutions and how to avoid common mistakes.

➜ Clear step-by-step method
Every task is approached with a simple structure: What is given? What is required? Which formula, law or method is suitable? Why does it apply? Then we solve the task step by step with all formulas, calculations and explanations.

➜ Why choose a Swiss-focused tutor?
Many tutors may know Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry, but Swiss exams often have their own wording, structure and expectations. Because I studied in Switzerland and have taught Swiss students for years, I can prepare learners in a much more targeted and relevant way.

➜ For serious students who want real progress
This class is ideal for students and adult learners who want to pass an important exam, improve their grades, close knowledge gaps, prepare for further studies or gain more confidence in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

➜ Success-oriented preparation
My goal is to help students build real understanding, not just short-term memorization. With clear explanations, structured practice, old exam material and consistent preparation, students can develop the confidence and exam technique needed to perform at their best.

Additional materials + practice qs | Lesson plans + regular feedback | Recording + session notes available

A common theme running through our lessons will be to simplify - even topics like electromagnetic induction can be reduced to small bits :)

Together, we'll:
1. Find learning gaps
2. Break concepts into small bits
3. Apply to real world and exam questions
4. Work on exam technique - like the difference between "explain" and "describe" questions
5. Build mark-scheme friendly language

“It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer”
- Albert Einstein, while studying superposition of waves, I’m sure :)
