About Me

My name is Elena. I have been tutoring small groups and 1:1 for the past 4 years.

More recently, I have worked as a teaching assistant in a school specialising in Maths. Maths was not my favourite subject in school. I have learnt useful and fun methods of teaching different topics within Maths and working with many students of different abilities and ages. Now, I am looking to help other students boost their confidence and see that Maths is amazing!

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Hi, my name is Federica and I am an astrophysicist. I obtained my PhD from ETH Zürich and, for over ten years, I have been working in international research teams, contributing to space missions such as ESA Euclid and NASA Roman, and collaborating with scientists from all over the world.
