About Me

I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh and have over five years of experience in tutoring. During my year abroad at UCLA, I took courses in mathematics education and worked as a learning assistant. This opportunity allowed me to deepen my understanding of how people learn while also teaching university students in lecture halls and discussion sessions effectively.

Education

University of Edinburgh, Master in Mathematics graduated in 2024. In addition, have spent a year abroad at University of California - Los Angeles in 2021-2022.

Experience / Qualifications

I bring over five years of tutoring experience, complemented by teaching roles with both school and university students. As a member of a math circle organizing committee, I contributed to weekly math circles and science fairs by designing engaging puzzles and fostering a deeper interest in mathematics among students. When patterns are found, often in widely different areas of science and technology, the mathematics of these patterns can be used to explain and control natural happenings and situations. Mathematics has a pervasive influence on our everyday lives, and contributes to the wealth of the country.

I am a mechanical engineering student, originally from Lebanon and currently living in Cyprus. I offer great teaching methods and communication skills. I am fluent in English, French and Arabic. I can travel to the student's house within the Nicosia area.
