I study Maths as part of my university degree and have taught students from KS3 to A Level for a year now. I find that it is most helpful to either decide at the beginning whether the student wants to be taught the entire syllabus from the beginning in order to ensure a strong understanding of all or whether instead to target certain areas if they feel they know their areas of weakness. In the first instance I teach the syllabus as if from scratch and provide homework whilst in the second I ask that the student send in advance examples of questions which they have found difficult in a particular topic and I work through them with the student and find similar questions to check their understanding.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
